This course covers
the practical skills needed by a first aider in the modern workplace. The course will give you the confidence and knowledge

Course duration
Three
days. The course is usually offered as three consecutive days, however, we also offer it as a split course over several weeks
at some centres.
Assessment and certification
After completing a final assessment successful candidates receive
an HSE approved certificate valid for three years.
This course is legally compliant with the current Health and Safety
(first aid) Regulations 1981. Upon successful completion of this three day course, first aiders receive certification to allow
them to practise for three years after which a re-qualification course becomes necessary. It is strongly recommended that
you update your skills by taking an annual refresher.
First aid at work requalification - RFAW £160
ex VAT
This course updates the first aid skills for people who need to renew their statutory first aid at work
certificate and whose existing certificate is still valid.
First aiders whose certificates have expired for more
than 28 days must attend the three day first aid at work course.

This course is for people wishing to renew a valid first aid at work certificate.
What
you will learn
The course aims to update and refresh your knowledge of the First aid at work syllabus, while allowing
time for revision and practice sessions in preparation for a final assessment.

years after completing a practical skills test.
Annual Refresher Training-AR £39 ex VAT
This refresher course provides you with an opportunity to practise and update your skills at any time
during your three year period as a qualified first aider.
The HSE strongly recommends that you attend a refresher session
once every year during this three year period.

First aid at work or Emergency first aid at work certificate.

This session builds on your
expertise and confidence by involving you in realistic situations with simulated casualties. Candidates will practise first
aid in practical, hands-on scenario sessions.

Workplace Resuscitation £39 ex VAT
This
short resuscitation course is for anyone wishing to update their skill in CPR

Who
should attend?
All healthcare professionals should be proficient in resuscitating unconscious patients
and must attend training every three years. Those with a duty to respond to paediatric emergencies must
be trained in a specific protocol for children and infants. Non-healthcare professionals working in a healthcare
setting should also be proficient in performing CPR .
